Apostille is an arrangement under the Hague convention whereby one signatory government certifies to another that a legal document is genuine and “fit for purpose”. Cyprus and UK are signatories.
The EU has a separate EU legislation recognizing members states documents.
With UK no longer an EU country , then UK government and formal documents to be used in Cyprus will require an apostille. ( e.g Marriage, birth, divorce, adoption, Powers of attorney, Certificates)
